Lupe Rios Joins Peacekeeping Mission in Kosovo
A 10-year veteran of the nursery, Lupe Rios decided to join the Missouri National Guard several years ago to serve his adopted homeland. During that time, he's served in the military police unit. Rios is extremely knowledgeable about growing and grafting plant material and served as Forrest Keeling's head propagator.
"Last year," added nursery president and CEO, Wayne Lovelace, "Lupe also graduated Missouri Baptist University Summa Cum Laude and became a naturalized U.S. citizen. He's been very busy and we're extremely proud of him and his accomplishments!"
Rios and his company are serving a one-year mission in Kosovo.
