Franklinia Tree, or Ben Franklin's Tree, is an excellent small tree with magnolia-like white flowers in late summer. The large, shiny green leaves turn a brilliant red in the fall.

Franklinia must be planted with organic matter such as peat moss or compost because it does not tolerate our clay soils. This tree will perform best in well-drained, acidic soil with plenty of water and partial sun.
